Melton’s Mountain
Many young people waste a lot of time trying to overcome the challenges of various video games, but they are made none the better for doing so. Others spend far too much time with sports, only to find themselves spiritually empty when they grow up and begin their families and careers. The Melton’s Mountain challenge is very different and far better. First of all, you can keep your money in your pocket because we charge nothing. Secondly, you can learn a lot about God and the Bible, a treasure that will serve you well for the rest of your life and a treasure that very few others will ever possess.
Just as very few people have ever climbed Mt. Everest, very few people will ever climb Melton’s Mountain, and for much the same reasons: (1) it isn’t an easy task, and (2) the higher you climb the harder it gets.
Melton’s Mountain is a virtual mountain of Bible truth. It stands 33,000 feet high and is named Melton’s Mountain because it is based on the writings of James L. Melton, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, Sharon, TN. Each question you answer correctly will take you 100 feet further up the mountain. All answers can be found on our web site (just click on the links to the left and search the articles), and many answers can also be found by going straight to the Bible.
If you are under 18, climb Melton’s Mountain and be honored by having your accomplishments posted below, plus lots more.

There are three levels to Melton’s Mountain. Level 1 goes up to 7,000 feet and contains multiple choice questions, all of which must be answered correctly before a climber advances to Level 2. Level 2 extends upwards to 18,000 feet and contains fill in the blank questions. All of these must be answered correctly before advancing on to Level 3. Level 3 goes all the way to the summit, 33,000 feet, and is the hardest level. It contains all types of questions that you must answer correctly. Any questions unanswered or answered incorrectly must be corrected before any award or acknowledgement is given. Those who successfully climb up through the three levels are ranked as Clever Climbers, Courageous Climbers, and Champion Climbers.
If you choose to climb the mountain, you will receive a signed Certificate of Achievement after completing each level. Your name and level will also be posted in the above listing. For security purposes, last names will not be published in the above listing, only first names and last initials.
For completion of Level 2, you will also receive a music CD from either majestymusic.com or johnmarshallfamily.com. You pick, we pay.
If you complete Level 3 and go all the way to the top, you will receive the standard Certificate of Achievement and acknowledgements, and you’ll also receive $50.00 worth of merchandise from one of the four Christian web sites listed below. We will also award you with 50 credit hours in our Whole Bible Institute (WBI) should you choose to enroll.
